By accessing or using pkglog.com (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

2. Description of Service

pkglog.com is a personal technical blog. It publishes articles and notes on software development, mostly C++ systems and network programming, along with posts on web development, databases, and DevOps. All content is free to read and is provided for educational and informational purposes.

Topics include, among others:

• C++ and systems programming (memory model, concurrency, sockets, epoll, io_uring)
• Other languages (Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript, and others)
• Robotics and media streaming (ROS 2, RTSP, WebRTC, HLS)
• Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and others)
• DevOps, build, and infrastructure tools (CMake, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)

3. Acceptable Use

You are free to read and use the Site for personal learning, reference, and education. The following are not permitted:

• Republishing, distributing, or commercially exploiting Site content without permission
• Quoting or adapting content without attribution (site name and URL)
• Interfering with or disrupting the Site's operation or servers
• Collecting personal information from other users
• Using bots or scrapers to copy the Site's content in bulk without permission
• Engaging in activities that violate applicable laws or regulations

4. Intellectual Property and Copyright

Unless stated otherwise, the text, code examples, images, and design of this Site belong to the Site operator. Some material may be covered by a separate license, such as an open-source license noted in the post, and that license then applies.

Content Usage Guidelines:

• Quoting and sharing: You may quote excerpts as long as you credit the site name and link to the post. Sharing links, including on social media, is always fine.
• Code examples: You may use code snippets from posts in your own projects. A comment pointing back to the source is appreciated.
• Republishing: Reproducing entire articles or substantial portions of them, especially for commercial purposes, requires prior written permission. Ask through the contact page.

• Accuracy: I try to keep posts correct, but tools and standards change and some information may be out of date. Verify anything critical against official documentation.

• Fitness for a particular purpose: Code examples are written for learning. Adapt and test them before using them in production.
• Availability: The Site may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
• External links: The Site is not responsible for the content or availability of external websites linked from this Site.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site operator is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Site or its content. 7. User-Generated Content

The Site does not currently offer comments, forums, or other ways for visitors to post content. If that changes, additional terms will be posted here.

8. Advertising and Monetization

The Site shows advertisements through Google AdSense, and the revenue helps cover running costs. Google selects the ads automatically; I don't choose individual ads, and advertisers have no say in what is written. The Site is not responsible for the content of advertised sites or for any transactions you make with advertisers.

Sponsored content, if published, will be explicitly labeled as such.

9. Modifications to Terms

These Terms may be revised when the law or the Site changes. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and continuing to use the Site after that means you accept the revised Terms.

Significant changes may be announced via a notice on the homepage or through other appropriate means.

10. Modifications to the Site

Any part of the Site may be changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. Posts may be corrected, rewritten, merged, or removed as technologies change.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Seoul, South Korea.
