What to Write About
- Technical questions — something in a post's code or explanation that doesn't add up
- Error reports — typos, incorrect code, broken links, or outdated information
- Topic suggestions — subjects or series you'd like to see written up
- Collaboration — co-written posts, talks, interviews, or sponsorship inquiries
- Other — permission to quote or republish, privacy requests, or anything else about the site
Before You Write
If you found an error, please include the URL of the post and a short description of the problem. For a technical question, the relevant code, the full error message, and your environment (OS, compiler or runtime version) make it much easier to give a useful answer. Putting the type of request in the subject line, such as [Error] or [Question], also helps.
For general programming questions that aren't about a post here, communities such as Stack Overflow or developer Discord communities will usually get you an answer faster.
